About 2 years ago i bought a set of plans for a Cirrus Hybrid. I started the build of the cirrus and also a stip deck pygmy and then got diagnosed with cancer... doh!! After surgery i had to do Chemotherapy. I spent a lot of time doing not a lot but reading and planning the kayaks. As soon as i could i was in the shed building .. sometimes i could only do 10 minutes and just sat in the shed but slowly I got better and slowly the boats got built. Building these boats kept me sane and gave me purpose. In May 06 we launched the boats and later took them to camping on the west coast of Scotland . I fitted the pygmy with one of your Brilliant Rudders and mine with a drop down skeg. The Cirrus performs beautifully and looks delightful...Thanks again for a wonderful design, splendid accurate plans and a fantastic website and build info.
