Is my Credit Card information secure?
YES. All One Ocean Kayaks Web Store orders are processed through
AuthorizeNet secure gateway servers in real time. The billing and card
information is encrypted using the latest, SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
technology. By the way, credit card companies, or AuthorizeNet gatway
would never allow transmission of unencrypted card information!
>Why don't I see the 'security lock' when
entering the card information?
-- The page where you enter the credit card and address information
is secure but if a secure page is loaded in the browser with other non-secure
pages (frame based pages- as in the web store) the security symbol is
not displayed. Your card and billing information is SSL encrypted and
secure nevertheless because it is in a secure page!
To verify that the credit card form
page is secure:
Internernet Explorer: Right click the credit card form page,
click "Properties" and note the connection is via SSL3.0
128 bit encryption. The page address is https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll
Netscape or Firefox: Right click the credit card form page, select
"This Frame > View Frame Info". The page will show the
URL as https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll
> Further security - AVS (address verification
system)
All card transactions are verified by the Bankcard processors using
the Address Verification System to assure the card is submitted only
by its true owner. Once the credit card information and the card billing
address are entered in the payment form, the processing network compares
the billing address entered in the form to the billing address on file
at the credit card issuing bank. This check is virtually instant. |

INTERNATINAL ORDERS - How do I order from outside US or if I don't have
a "ZIP" or Postal code ?
Enter your address as complete as you can in the 'address' fields. The
"ZIP" field need not contain anything. The Kagi
order form can also handle virtually any International as well as
any US credit card orders. |

Can I use credit cards other than "VISA, Master Card, Discover
and American Express" ?
Yes, the Kagi order
form can also handle Eurocard and Diner's
Club and a few others.

How do I use the Web Store?
1. You can move about the Web Store selecting any product category (Plans,
Minicel etc...) and adding individual or multiple items from each category
to your cart . As long as you stay within the store, the 'shopping cart'
will keep track of all the items you have selected.
2. To add one or multiple items to the cart, enter the quantity of the
items and press the
button
Please, select all relevant "Shipping & Handling" options
before clicking the button so that everything is properly counted.
If you make a mistake, you can always delete the item from the cart
or add it again later.
3. When you want to see what you have in your cart, or want to make
changes, click the
4. When you have made your selection and are ready to order, click the
button to enter your shipping information. Your order is then presented
to you for verification. The last step is to click the "Secure
Orderform" button to enter the payment information.
5. A copy (receipt) of the order will be sent to you by e-mail. Print
it out for your records if you wish. |

My shopping cart is empty even though I selected some items.
1. Make sure to click the
button after making your selection of items.
2. Please, allow the web page to load up into your browser completely
before clicking buttons. There is a lot of hidden administrative information
passed along and if the page doesn't load up completely some of the
information may not be processed. This may result in the loss of the
cart contents. |

items in my shopping cart disappeared. What happened?
Clicking 'reload', 'refresh' on the browser or accessing outside links
will empty the cart and the program will assign you a new cart. |
